MPTF Live Jazz Orchestra Concerts

Free Live-Streamed Jazz Orchestra Concert

April 26 - Live! WJO original compositions and arrangements

This live stream concert will feature a variety of pieces from past WJO concerts, with an emphasis on our own arrangements and compositions.
We will do a trio of duke Ellington tunes - one that is a famous arrangement from the Count Basie library (In a Mellow Tone), and a couple of our arrangements of Oscar Peterson tunes.
We will also perform two pieces that were composed for Manitoba school big bands (Gone and Sanctuary), and two pieces that were also recorded by the Reykjavik Big Band in 2010 (Rhymes and Mr. G).
