Women's Day - Women of the WJO

Online from March 24, to April 13, 2023

The Winnipeg Women’s Jazz Orchestra presents a concert celebrating this year’s International Women's Day’s campaign theme: #EmbraceEquity. The program will include several favourites from last year’s inaugural WWJO International Women's Day concert, several pieces written or arranged by Winnipeg women, and several standards focusing a lens on celebrating the strength equity brings. WJO has a mission toward equity, diversity, and inclusion. It is important for all people to see themselves reflected in what they celebrate. This March, we celebrate equity.

With a Little Help From My Friends
- The Beatles Songbook

Online from May 5-26, 2023

The WINNIPEG JAZZ ORCHESTRA explores the music of The Beatles with a unique big band take on classic compositions by perhaps the most influential band in the history of rock and roll.

The WJO is very pleased to be back for the 2022/23 season to continue our tradition of classic arrangements, new compositions, surprise guests, old friends, talented young instrumentalists and vocalists, and themes that we think will pique your interest!
