The Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra presents:
Swingin' in the Schools

With the generous support of the Winnipeg Foundation, schools now have the opportunity to present in-school concerts featuring the Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra. Cost for the schools in minimal and the program can be tailored to fit the needs of your school. Clinics are also available before or after the concert. Price is negotiable.

Frank Foster (artistic director of the Count Basie Big Band) called the big band "one of the great vehicles for creating music" and, truly, there are few things more inspiring than a jazz big band. This is a great opportunity to inspire your students through professionally played Big Band jazz.
